It's exciting to grill ingredients over the charcoal fire of the irori (traditional Japanese hearth). You can grill wild boar, duck, yamame (mountain trout), konnyaku (konjac), and tofu, each bringing out their own delicious flavors. The miso-based hot pot is rich and conveys the flavors of deer and wild boar well. The building resembles an old house, allowing you to relax surrounded by thick wooden beams and pillars. The mechanism that delivers dishes from the waterway flowing through the center of the restaurant is full of playful charm. In the morning, there's a Japanese-style buffet where you can grill dried fish and eggs over the charcoal fire at your table, leaving you satisfied.
