I have been wanting to go there for a long time! Yes, this is the place I've wanted to go for a long, long time! I used to wander around Nara a lot when I was in high school. Riding the Kintetsu train, looking for places where the scenery was different from what it used to be... I get off at Shin-Omiya station, one step before Nara station. I met my friend at the station and we walked about 15 minutes to this restaurant. If you don't want to walk, there is a bus service from Kintetsu Nara and JR Nara. Of course, you can also drive. This is a very popular place, so it is normal to have to wait for the bus. The popular lunch at Walnut Tree will end soon! Reservations cannot be made for seats. But you can make a reservation for lunch. If you are planning to go, it would be better to make a reservation. When we went there on Saturday before 1:00 p.m., we had to wait for 30 minutes. There are also some shops on the premises selling goods and clothes, so you can look around and have a good time. You can wait in the waiting room. I bought a loaf of bread at the nearby Amber.
