In a stylish café that blends into the old town streets, the interior is filled with plenty of light from large windows, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The signature dish, curry, is served with rice shaped like a dam, and when you pull out the buried sausage, the sauce playfully shifts. The sauce is mild with just the right amount of spices, and when combined with chopped salted kelp, the umami flavor significantly increases. The side salad is topped with ham from pasture-raised pigs, which was surprisingly moist and tender. The dessert options, such as sake lees macarons and gelato, also have a light sweetness and a subtle rice aroma that is delightful. Local sake and craft beer are available, and with free Wi-Fi, it’s a place where you’ll want to linger comfortably.
