An attractive café that anime fans must not miss

Cafe Uemaru is a popular café where you can enjoy the dam curry famous from the anime 'Yuru Camp△'. Located near Senkō Station, the spacious interior allows for a relaxing time. The dam curry is uniquely presented, served with a light Indian-style curry along with side dishes and salads that will surprise visitors. The Kawane tea parfait is particularly recommended, and its cute appearance and deliciousness will be one of the reasons to visit.

At a small café just after getting off at Chitō Station, the interior is filled with decorations from Yuru Camp△, which is exciting. After buying a meal ticket, it takes about ten minutes for your number to be called, so the waiting time is just right. The specialty Nagashima Dam Curry has rice shaped like a dam, curry representing the water surface, and a shrimp fry as a bridge, making for a fun appearance. The curry is mild and not too spicy, making it easy for anyone to enjoy. Thanks to the crispy shrimp fry and various vegetables, the dish is rich in both texture and color. There are also a few Yuru Camp△ goods for souvenirs lined up, making it a lovely shop that you can't help but want to check out after your meal.

It is located very close to the station, and the cute logo caught my eye, making it easy to enter. The interior is more spacious than I imagined, and ordering is very smooth with the touch panel and smartphone payment. I chose the Shiodō Dam Curry from the three types of dam curry, and it was exciting to see large fish and side dishes as toppings. The lightly spiced roux has a rich flavor and just the right amount of spiciness, which pairs perfectly with the simmered shiitake mushrooms on the rice. After the meal, I ordered the Kawane tea parfait, and the aroma of matcha and the cute presentation made me feel relaxed. It is a calm café where you can also enjoy the atmosphere of a pilgrimage site, and I had a leisurely lunch time.
