In a store interior that evokes the charm of the past, Showa-era posters enhance the atmosphere. The lack of smoke makes it easy to drop in alone without hesitation. The grilled dishes showcase the quality of handcrafting, and the next plate arrives at just the right timing. The pickled vegetables, such as nukazuke and salted shallots, provide a nice accent, and it's a delight to occasionally encounter myoga (Japanese ginger). The oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) features creamy eggs, tender chicken with just the right amount of chew, and a pleasant texture from the onions, all coming together in a gentle flavor. The coffee after the meal is rich in aroma, refreshing to drink, and left me satisfied.
