It is worth paying the temple visit fee plus 500 yen. This is a rest area in Hokokuji Temple, also known as Take-dera. Visitors pay 200 yen for the entrance fee and 500 yen for green tea at the reception desk. The day I visited was very hot and I was exhausted, but the negative ions healed me. The thick foliage of the bamboo blocks the direct sunlight and makes you feel cooler than the outside air. Matcha (powdered green tea) After ordering, you will be taken to a seat overlooking the bamboo in the temple grounds. When you are ready, you will be called by number. Don't worry if you don't know how to drink matcha at all, as there are many foreigners here.
