Ryugon, Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture Snow Country Gastronomy 🍚 (First two pictures are breakfast) (The first two pictures are breakfast) Yesterday, today, I went to a hot spring in Niigata. Gastronomy is a cuisine based on wild ingredients and traditional dishes that have been passed down from generation to generation! It was not fancy, but I was healed by the local ingredients themselves and enjoyed it deeply. Not only sake, but also Niigata wine was good! Uonuma Koshihikari rice is fragrant, glutinous, shiny, and very delicious 🌾 As one would expect from a rice producing region. With the reddish-yellow mountains by my side, I returned to Tokyo early today and spent the afternoon at work 💉. It all happened so fast, but it was a bit therapeutic.
