While maintaining the unique floral aroma of Ethiopia, those who find the acidity of coffee overwhelming will be able to enjoy this dark roasted coffee, which seems to offer a more luxurious experience compared to the coffee they have previously consumed.
The SL variety series is a variety developed by the Scott Agricultural Research Institute in Kenya. This SL series has established itself as a representative variety of Kenya, and it was chosen this time because it was showcased in El Salvador. The processing also uses CM (Carbonic Maceration), allowing you to experience the unique aroma of anaerobic fermentation. It is a coffee that has a yogurt-like feel and a well-perceived sweetness of fruit.
The Bernardina variety is not well-known. It was discovered by a tree manager named Bernardino in El Salvador. Initially, it was thought to be a Geisha variety, but due to its slightly different appearance, a DNA analysis was requested, revealing that it is a new variety (70% Geisha + 30% Ethiopian). This new variety was named Bernardina after its discoverer. While it may not surpass the taste of Geisha, it has nuances of papaya, mango, and vanilla.
