A modern Japanese soba izakaya to enjoy in Kinshicho

Nanaya, a popular modern Japanese soba izakaya in Kinshicho for 25 years, offers exquisite dishes made with seasonal ingredients and exceptional duck dishes using domestically sourced duck. You can enjoy fresh Tsukuba jidori chicken dishes like tataki and toriwasa all year round, which are especially recommended. The soba served at the end is a specialty of the owner, made with buckwheat flour sourced from the northernmost production area in Hokkaido, boasting an exquisite aroma and texture. A wide selection of carefully chosen local sake from across the country is also available to enjoy alongside the dishes.

Initially, I did not have a very good impression of the store because the first employee who served me (a man wearing glasses and a white coat) had an unfriendly demeanor. However, the next person who served me (a younger man, also wearing glasses) was enjoyable to talk to, and I thoroughly enjoyed the food and drinks that were subsequently provided. Thank you for your assistance despite your busy schedule.

A new soba izakaya (buckwheat noodle restaurant) opened at Kinshicho Station. I visited this restaurant out of curiosity, as I was told that the restaurant located at the south exit had finally opened at the north exit. I thought, with all due respect, that it is not easy to find such a beautiful interior based on wood in Kinshicho. This time, rather than enjoying Soba, I was hoping to have some snacks with my drink, and when I looked at the menu, there were more snacks than I had imagined, so much so that I had a hard time deciding. I ordered chicken and tataki of Tsukuba Jidori chicken from Ibaraki Prefecture. For drinks, I had a couple of 480 yen sours. I finished off my meal with soba (buckwheat noodles) for about 3,500 yen. I enjoyed my meal and would like to visit again next time.
