Toriki is the first restaurant in Tokyo to receive a Michelin star for its yakitori. We arrived promptly at 6 o'clock and the entire dining process took about 3 hours. The restaurant is filled with the aroma of Tosa Binchotan charcoal-grilled flavors, and each person must order a set meal. In addition to grilled meats and vegetables, the set meal also includes offal. Customers who do not eat offal should inform the server in advance so that the chef can prepare alternative dishes earlier! The quality of the food is good and the cooking is well executed. The chef's grilling technique is also well mastered, insisting that each skewer must be eaten in one bite without separating into two. Customers who want to try the skewers should inform the chef in advance. Just a reminder, this set meal does not include ~ additional charges apply.
The food tastes great, and watching the chef carefully roast each ingredient to perfection truly reflects the spirit of craftsmanship. Both the atmosphere and the food are a wonderful enjoyment. I will remember this evening's experience well. Highly recommended.
Environment: A slightly dimmed bar-like setup where the chef and the staff are surrounded by the customers, where you can see clearly how the chef is cooking, which is quite a relaxing view with a drink. No worries about the smoke, which is extracted by the extractor hood right beside the stove.
Food: I ordered the course and I think the portion is just right, allowing you to order few more items that you want to try again or have not tried. Please expect it will not be a short meal as it takes time to prepare the grills and it is really enjoyable to slow down and have conversations and drinks with your friends or partner while waiting for the next dish. It took us about 3 hours to finish the dinner. I really recommend you try thighs, wings, eggplants and liver.
Service: We sat far from the chef and we do not speak Japanese, but I can feel they are really friendly to foreigners.
It was really great. The interior has a hidden gem vibe, it's very beautiful, and the service is wonderful. The feeling of hospitality is really amazing. I want to go again! I recommend it. Please try to go at least once~

Went to Kinshicho in search of yakitori
A little late for dinner 💕💕
This is another yakitori restaurant in Tokyo that I've been curious about for a long time.
This is also a handsome yakitori restaurant in Tokyo that I've been curious about for a long time.
We were asked if there was anything we didn't like,
The course is about to start!
My favorite was the handsome chicken wing!
First of all, I was surprised at the way the bones were removed!
The bones come off so easily.
And they are so juicy and plump!
It was so delicious!

I am posting this in hopes it will be helpful for those making a reservation.
When you book online, you automatically get a pairing of three glasses of sake. If you don't drink alcohol, you can switch to soft drinks, but it is quite expensive.
You can also change to a different type of alcohol, but you need to pay the difference and order three glasses.
There are customers who order drinks freely, and I wished I could have done that too.
It seems that online reservations are a system aimed at overseas customers, and if you want to order only the course and have drinks freely, I think it's better to make a reservation by phone.
I had a glass of sake that I don't particularly like as the first drink, and I felt a bit dissatisfied when I learned that if I had made a reservation by phone, I could have ordered drinks freely.
The food was delicious, everything was good.
