In a quiet Japanese restaurant tucked away in an alley, you feel at ease with the attentive hospitality as soon as you enter. In a calm space, each dish is served with care. The fresh fish is thick and plump, with a freshness that is hard to believe in a mountain town. There is a wide variety of sake and shochu, allowing you to enjoy tasting them little by little and pairing them with the dishes. For example, the sashimi of star anise and natural yellowtail, the fragrant grilled kinmedai, the stone-grilled beef tongue, and the horse sashimi are all impressive. You can also enjoy seasonal soup, beef steak with foie gras, sushi with Shinshu salmon, and homemade desserts, all of which are satisfying.
