Despite being in the mountains, the restaurant was lively with family customers. First, we could relax with the cold soba tea that was served. The carefully crafted 90% buckwheat soba had a fragrant aroma that wafted up, and the smooth texture was pleasant to the throat. The summer limited salad soba topped with fried soba had an excellent combination of crunchy texture and refreshing vegetables. When paired with the local wasabi and bonito flakes, the wasabi rice became even more aromatic and creamy with the addition of tororo. I thoroughly enjoyed the rich, thick soba broth at the end, and I was very satisfied.
