After leaving Ishiyama Station and walking a bit, you will find a quiet and calm Japanese restaurant that appears along a narrow path. Upon entering, there is a counter and tatami seating, creating a warm atmosphere that makes you feel at ease. The Kyoto-style obanzai can be selected by combining your favorite dishes, making ordering an exciting experience. Each dish, such as potato salad, chicken neck with ponzu, and simmered eggplant, is seasoned with care, making them delicious and perfect for pairing with drinks. The chicken nanban served with shiba-zuke tartar was a brilliant idea, with a perfect balance of acidity and richness. They also have local sake from Shiga, and it turned out to be a wonderful night spent leisurely enjoying conversations with the friendly owner.
