The pork steak was very tender and I was surprised that it could be cut easily with chopsticks. The meat, which was finished slowly at a low temperature, was moist and juicy, with a pale pink color that whetted my appetite. The sauce, with the acidity of aromatic vegetables, paired perfectly, enhancing the flavor of the meat significantly. The garlic fried rice was fragrant, with a fluffy egg and the richness of minced meat, and the whole garlic was soft and delicious. The small bowl of simmered dishes and the nyumen (thin noodles) had a gentle flavor, making them perfect for a palate cleanser. The interior of the restaurant is casual, with fun drum barrel-style tables, and they also offer convenient takeout bento boxes.
