A charming exterior and casual French dining experience

Recently opened in Hatagaya, ripen features an adorable exterior that makes you feel as if you're in a European town. The interior is stylish, resembling a café, and the dishes prepared by the chef, visible from the counter, are beautifully and meticulously crafted. The atmosphere is inviting for solo diners, and the pleasant service makes you want to invite your dear friends. It's a place you'll want to visit regularly.

The appearance is so cute that it feels like it belongs on a European street, and I was excited even before entering. The interior is stylish like a café, and the cozy space with just a counter is calming. Even though the chef manages everything alone, the service is attentive, and the distance allows for enjoyable conversation. The unexpected combinations, such as the dried daikon soup and the North Akari croquettes, were all surprisingly delicious. The dishes and presentation were very beautiful, and I couldn't help but take a lot of photos. There is a wide variety of drinks, including craft gin, and I was happy to freely enjoy the pairings with the food.
