Sushi Kaze no Gi

The menu at Sushi KAZNOGI is offered only in the monthly "Omakase Course". The course consists of an appetizer, five snacks, 12 pieces of nigiri, a roll, an egg, etc. Each dish is characterized by seasonal ingredients made from natural ingredients from the seas around Japan. In particular, the aged chutoro (medium fatty tuna) and kinmedai (sea bream) nigiri offer melt-in-your-mouth texture and deep flavor. Appetizers and snacks also utilize Japanese culinary techniques and offer delicate flavors using seasonal ingredients.

The interior of the restaurant has a chic and relaxed atmosphere with black as its base color. The restaurant has a total of 20 seats, including 8 counter seats, table seats for 4 to 6 persons, and 6 private room counter seats, creating a private atmosphere. All seats are non-smoking, and a smoking area is provided on the restaurant premises. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible and is equipped with free Wi-Fi.

Tomohiro Kumakura, the owner of Sushi KAZE NOGI, trained for six years at a Japanese kaiseki restaurant and honed his skills at famous restaurants in Ginza, Nihonbashi and Aoyama. After that, he worked with Mr. Sakuma at Masa, a famous stand-up sushi restaurant, and they opened Sushi KAZENOGI together again. The name of the restaurant, "KAZENOGI," is taken from Mr. Kumakura's name. The restaurant offers a new world of sushi that incorporates the techniques of kaiseki cuisine while maintaining the tradition of Edo-mae sushi. The restaurant is also flexible to accommodate customers' requests for course content and seating preferences, creating a special moment for them.
