Our restaurant is located in the Kanagawa Museum of Modern Literature and offers sushi related to literature. The "Little Boy God Nigirizushi" is inspired by the sushi that Senkichi, the little boy in Naoya Shiga's short story "Little Boy God," would have eaten to fill his stomach.
A bowl that carries the memories of a foreign land and the scent of home, drifting in 'Akashiya of Dalian.' Takayuki Kiyooka spent his childhood in Dalian, China. The fragrance of the acacia flowers that bloomed in that city and the warmth of the food that remains in his memories are layered in this Yanagawa-style unagi don. The gentle flavor woven by fluffy eggs and burdock softly brings back the landscapes of distant days. Within this bowl, there is poetry and nostalgia.
9 pieces of sushi, tamago, a bowl, and tea. *Hot green tea is included. *Additional sushi can be ordered. Inspired by the famous short story 'The God of Little Monks' by Naoya Shiga, known as 'The God of Novels', this sushi is crafted to imagine what the little monk, Senkichi, would have eaten to his heart's content. Seasonal ingredients are selected from the market, and the contents vary by season.
Tuna, small fish, simmered eel, fish roe, conger eel, omelet, okra* included in the drink set. Please see the mini file. This is a masterpiece by Junichiro Tanizaki, deeply connected to Kanagawa, including Odawara, Yokohama, and Yugawara, depicting the daily lives of the four sisters of the Makioka family, who proudly display their old noren in Osaka's Senba, in the novel 'The Makioka Sisters.' 'The Makioka Sisters' is based on Tanizaki's third wife, Matsuko Morita, and her four sisters, portraying the daily lives of the upper class throughout. In June, during the scene where the youngest sister, Taeko, dances to the traditional song 'Snow,' what everyone ate beforehand was 'chirashi sushi.' Even Mrs. Stultz, a German guest at the table, devoured the very delicious 'chirashi sushi,' which has been arranged in a 'sususu' style.
Tuna, salmon, shrimp, cucumber, inari, egg, and soup. We have prepared popular ingredients for children in easy-to-eat bite-sized portions. *Please let us know if there are any allergies or ingredients that your child does not like. *This is for children in elementary school and below.

This highball is made with baijiu, pineapple juice, and acacia honey that would have likely been fragrant in Dalian, along with baijiu, which is commonly consumed in northern China. The unique aroma of baijiu is combined with pineapple.
(Non-Alcoholic) Elderflower syrup, white grape juice. In France, there are famous flowers that begin to bloom in early spring, and 'lilac' is popular in perfumes, but elderflower is also one of them. This is a non-alcoholic cocktail made by blending elderflower syrup, which one might have smelled in Paris in May, with white wine juice and soda.
It can also be made as hot lemonade (600 yen). It uses the syrup from 'Open Book' in Shinjuku Golden Gai, which is said to have sparked the lemon sour boom. The original recipe, which adds lime juice and brown sugar to lemon juice, has a unique soft sweetness and refreshing lemon flavor. It is served in two ways: as lemon squash mixed with carbonated water and as hot lemonade mixed with hot water.
