As I entered the store, passing through the hustle and bustle of the intersection, I was enveloped in a calming atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era. The furnishings were well-maintained, exuding a warmth of the old days while maintaining an elegant ambiance. The pork cutlet set meal had a light and crispy batter, and the rich flavor of the meat made me want to enjoy a beer. The katsudon, topped with a soft-boiled egg, had a few green peas on top, and the slightly sweet seasoning was pleasing, satisfying both my stomach and heart. The grilled eel, fragrant and perfectly cooked, paired excellently with the softer rice, thanks to the exquisite balance of the sauce. In the quiet dining area, everyone was enjoying their meals in their own way, making it a wonderful place where time seemed to flow slowly.
