Gu Raku

The cuisine focuses on Japanese dishes made with seasonal seafood and local ingredients. Beautifully presented and carefully prepared from appetizers to sweets, you can feel the changing seasons. Kaiseki meals are available for celebrations and memorial services, and authentic Japanese flavors can be enjoyed by reservation for both lunch and dinner.

Housed in a standalone house, the interior is a Japanese-style space with tatami seating, sunken kotatsu, and table seats. The entire restaurant is non-smoking and maintains a calm atmosphere, and private rooms of various sizes are available depending on the number of guests. It is easy to use for a wide range of occasions such as family gatherings, formal introductions, and business entertaining, providing a setting where you can leisurely enjoy conversation and your meal.

Since opening, we have been supporting local dining in the Shitobe area through kaiseki cuisine and catering. Lunch is available by reservation made at least one day in advance so guests can enjoy a relaxed kaiseki experience, and in the evening we offer courses tailored to various needs. We have long been chosen as a place to mark life’s milestones—memorial service meals, celebratory meals, first seasonal festivals for infants, family introductions, and the like—and we can accommodate groups with parking facilities that handle large buses.
