This is a traditional genuine Gyokuro that can be proudly recommended, produced in the hometown of the best Gyokuro in Japan, Hoshino, Yame. It has undergone traditional cultivation and meticulous management, and promises a moment of excitement with the beauty of the tea leaves and the rich flavor, just like the Gyokuro used for 'Shizuku-cha' that can be enjoyed at the 'Tea Culture Museum' in Hoshino Village.
This is our flagship product, infused with the desire to take root in Dazaifu. It is a special blend by the young tea master, Manya Yamaguchi, from Hoshino Village, who won first place twice in the National Tea Tasting Competition (55th and 57th editions). This sencha is perfect for the image of shining plum blossoms, with its light blue color and high fragrance.
This is the same style as the 'Droplet Tea' that can be enjoyed at the famous 'Tea Culture Museum' in Hoshino Village, the home of Japan's finest Gyokuro. You will enjoy the luxurious Gyokuro that has been carefully nurtured under strict management conditions in the luxurious way of Sencha ceremony.
Enjoy the rich flavor of the first-picked premium new buds that have just sprouted in early spring by brewing them in lukewarm water for one brew, then in hot water for another brew... Finally, add Hoshino's terraced brown rice to enjoy it as genmaicha.
We carefully cultivate ground tea grown in the famous Hoshino village, grind it with a stone mill, and serve you a matcha with a rich flavor and aroma. It is less bitter and astringent than typical matcha, and is popular for its smooth richness and refreshing taste.
