Oreilles de Chat, Toyohira, Chino City, Nagano Prefecture. We rent a field at an altitude of 930 to 960 meters, overlooking the Yatsugatake, Tateshina Mountain, Kirigamine, and Kaikomagatake, and started cultivating wine grapes in 2018. We want to offer a wine that represents Nagano, which is cute but has claws and fangs, friendly yet has a core. In October 2023, we finally opened the winery, named 'Oreille de Chat Venus Line Brewery.' Yatsugatake Haramura Winery stands in a refreshing breeze at an altitude of 914 meters on the western foothills of Yatsugatake. We use grapes produced in Nagano Prefecture. We expect to harvest a small amount of our own cultivated grapes in the fall of 2023, and the yield is expected to gradually increase from 2024 onwards. Komaki Vineyard produces wine and juice from grapes grown without herbicides or chemical fertilizers at an altitude of 820 meters in Yatsugatake, using only Bordeaux mixture for spring disinfection and organic cultivation. Mine no Kura carefully ferments the grapes after hand destemming and soaking at low temperatures for several days, taking time to ferment slowly without crushing the grape berries as much as possible. We continue to explore cultivation and brewing methods that allow natural yeast to activate easily, as we brew using only natural yeast without cultivated yeast. *There are also Yatsugatake Susono Winery and Italian wines. Please visit the wine cellar. Bottles start from 3,000 yen.
