A restaurant where you can enjoy the charm of a traditional house and a variety of curries

Kakinoki Terrace is a tranquil establishment renovated from a traditional house, where you can savor a diverse range of slow-cooked curries. The dishes, which harmoniously blend the flavors of vegetables and the juiciness of meat, are truly captivating and attract visitors. Additionally, the rich atmosphere created by the 100-year-old ceiling beams provides a relaxing experience for guests. After your meal, you can enjoy a comforting moment with a cup of chai tea, which is another highlight of the visit.

The clientele matched all generations, from children to the elderly, and pets were also welcome. The menu was rich with a variety of curries and desserts, making it hard to choose as I took my time to decide. I had the Yamagata Yonezawa pork cutlet and fried eggplant curry. The crispiness of the cutlet was pleasant, and I could choose my preferred level of spiciness for the curry, which was delicious and very satisfying. It was also nice that a small bowl of homemade vegetables was included. The atmosphere of the old folk house was very nice, and I was able to enjoy conversation without worrying about the people around me, forgetting the time. It's a place I would like to visit again.

It had been a while since my last visit, but the deliciousness was as usual ^_^ I had the Yamagata Yonezawa pork cutlet curry. It had an amazing volume 👍 But I finished it all in no time. The sauce on the pork cutlet was delicious! I want to go again ♪

I have visited this restaurant several times, but it has been a long time. The curry is as delicious as ever😊. We also received a souvenir in a cute little handmade paper bag. Ordering was tricky as it was a mobile order and didn't work. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the atmosphere and the taste.

It was a delicious European curry. The cutlet was crispy...and I liked the balsamic vinegar on it, which I love. For dessert, I had a hard time deciding which one to have, but I decided on the pudding with sweet potato. I am so glad I chose this one! The pudding, the cream and the crispy sweet potato were all delicious. I want to go back again.

The waitress was very nice and guided us smoothly to our reserved seats! The staff was also very nice and polite to those who asked for a terrace seat even though the restaurant was already booked. And the food was delicious🎵. It has become my favorite restaurant.
