An izakaya with the charm of Showa retro and charcoal grilling

Izakaya Danna is a cozy establishment that captivates with its Showa retro atmosphere and the enticing aroma of charcoal grilling. Run solely by the owner, this place offers delicious dishes like natto fried rice and skewers that you can enjoy to your heart's content. The natto fried rice, in particular, is a must-try for first-timers.

The small shop located on the second floor of the drinking district has a calming atmosphere. As soon as you enter, the aroma of charcoal spreads gently, stimulating your appetite. The owner manages the place alone, but is very pleasant, making the wait time bearable. All the skewers are delicious, especially the pork skewers, which are quite filling. The saltiness of the edamame is just right, making it easy to enjoy drinks. And the natto fried rice we had to finish was unforgettable, with the richness and aroma of butter.
