A sushi restaurant with fresh ingredients and a homey atmosphere
Atago Sushi is a cozy sushi shop located right next to Tsuruhashi Market. The sushi, made with carefully selected fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked rice, is especially renowned for its fluffy simmered anago (conger eel). The comfortable space allows you to relax and enjoy casual conversations with the chef at the counter.

Atago Sushi, located past the Tsuruhashi wholesale market and in front of the huge Pachinko parlor 123, offers a wide variety of sushi for lunch, including nigiri and chirashi, as well as unton from Kikai Island, striped horse mackerel, and other items. Since there were no customers, we were able to enjoy our sushi in a relaxed atmosphere. The fish was fresh, especially the tuna and striped horse mackerel. The atmosphere of the restaurant was homey, and the owner and his wife were very attentive to our needs, making our meal a pleasant experience. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.
