Welcomed by the waterwheel and goats at the entrance, you feel cozy the moment you arrive. Inside the calm Japanese-style store, there are tables in the front and tatami rooms in the back, with a pleasant view of the terrace through the window. Here, they make the soba noodles after you place your order, allowing you to enjoy the fresh aroma and firm texture. The soba, made from home-grown buckwheat and ground with a stone mill without any additives, has a bright color and a gentle fragrance that glides smoothly down your throat. The dipping sauce, flavored with soy sauce and bonito, pairs well, and when you grate the wasabi yourself and mix it with a little sugar, the aroma spreads pleasantly. The pickled napa cabbage served at the beginning is delightful, and the seasonal vegetables and shrimp tempura can be enjoyed with their crispy batter.
