A stylish fusion of soba and lounge

Soir is an enchanting establishment that presents two different faces: handmade soba during the day and a lounge at night. The soba, made from buckwheat flour sourced from the Yatsugatake region in Shinshu, captivates visitors with its fragrant and rich flavor. In particular, the soba-yu (soba water) has a special thickness and offers a rich umami reminiscent of sweet sake. Enjoying soba in this heavy atmosphere provides a special moment that allows you to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

It's a small shop on the upper floor, with a somewhat hidden atmosphere. The adult-like interior is calming, allowing you to relax as soon as you sit down. The thinly made hand-crafted soba noodles slide down smoothly and provide a pleasant texture with each bite. The dipping sauce has a gentle sweetness that pairs well with the flavor of the soba. It's also fun to change the taste with toppings like nameko mushrooms, grated daikon, and condiments, and I thoroughly enjoyed the thick soba broth as well. The service is pleasant, and despite being in a hard-to-find location, I'm glad I came to this shop.
