A charming restaurant with warm hospitality and a wide variety of set meal options

Shinanoya is a lovely establishment where you can enjoy warm service in a homely atmosphere. Each dish is carefully prepared, and there's the joy of choosing from a diverse menu. It's also a delight to savor hearty dishes like tempura and grilled meat set meals.

The warm hospitality of the owner and the proprietress is very comforting, and you feel at ease the moment you take your seat. The atmosphere is relaxing whether at the counter or in the raised seating area, and the air conditioning keeps it comfortable even in summer. The signature Katsu-ju has a sprinkle of aonori on top, and the sauce seeps into the rice, making each bite a delight. The tender chicken cutlet pairs perfectly with the slightly sweet sauce, and even though it's hearty, you can enjoy it until the last bite without feeling heavy. It comes with a refined miso soup and two small side dishes, providing a variety of flavors that keep it interesting until the end. The shrimp tempura rice bowl and fried chicken set that regulars ordered also looked delicious, making me want to try different menu items next time.
