A tranquil izakaya for adults to enjoy

Gaya is an adult izakaya with a calming atmosphere that helps you forget the hustle and bustle of daily life. Although it's a cozy space with only counter seating, its homey charm makes it a welcoming spot to drop by. In this comfortable setting run solely by the owner, you can enjoy delicious snacks along with a variety of sake and shochu. It's the perfect hidden gem for those seeking a quiet and refined experience.

It's a small shop with only a counter, and the sunken kotatsu-style seats where you can take off your shoes are comfortable. Bossa nova music plays in the background, creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The owner speaks little but treats customers with care, making it feel welcoming even for first-timers. During the day, the tuna bowl is a staple, and it's fun that the contents of the A and B set meals change every few days. Of course, the ginger pork and simmered flounder are delicious, as well as the six-grain rice, clam miso soup, pickles, and ohitashi (blanched vegetables). In the evening, there are sets of drinks and snacks, as well as a finishing dish of tantanmen (spicy sesame noodles), allowing you to slowly enjoy delicate flavors that pair well with sake.
