A Warm Counter Kappo Featuring Niigata Ingredients and Quality Meats

Renowned for its dishes centered around carefully selected ingredients directly sourced from Niigata, such as Minami-Uonuma Koshihikari rice and free-range eggs, as well as meat dishes like steak and Ozaki beef. The tranquil interior, with only counter seating, allows guests to enjoy large platters and obanzai (traditional side dishes), fully experiencing the aroma and umami of the ingredients. The attentive service, which includes checking the doneness of the meat, adds to the comforting atmosphere, making it an inviting place even for first-time visitors.

Located at the end of the corridor in the building, it is refreshing and calming once you enter. The counter is central, and the service is gentle and comfortable. The signature sauce katsudon features tender meat with just the right amount of sweetness that pairs well with the rice. Ingredients from Niigata are also used, allowing you to enjoy items like sliced radish, free-range eggs, and natto. The bowls with mushrooms and konjac, as well as the chawanmushi (steamed egg custard), have a carefully crafted flavor. Depending on the timing, there are also meat dishes like Ozaki beef, grilled liver, and steak, and you can discuss the level of doneness.
