A Long-Established Diner Rooted in the Local Community

Masumiya Shokudo is a charming, long-established diner beloved by local regulars. The nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the Showa era that wafts from the entrance warmly welcomes visitors. A wide variety of diner-style dishes, including soba noodles, are available, each offering a homely and memorable deliciousness. In particular, the freshly fried katsu served with generous amounts of curry sauce is a must-try.

The interior of the shop has a Showa retro atmosphere that exudes a comforting air. The staff kindly greets you, allowing you to start your meal pleasantly from the very beginning. The ginger-flavored meat in the grilled meat set meal has a rich taste, and when eaten with shredded cabbage, you can't put down your chopsticks. The small bowl has a strong dashi flavor, providing a gentle umami typical of a soba shop. The chilled tanuki soba, perfect for summer, is filled with plenty of tenkasu and vegetables, and the refreshing cold texture is superb. The combination of tempura rice bowl and warm tanuki soba is also very filling, leaving you feeling satisfied and happy until the very end.
