A warm small restaurant loved by the locals

Nakano is a cozy small restaurant cherished by the local community, run by the owner and her young assistant. Many of the visitors are in their 30s and above, creating a nostalgic atmosphere for communication. Even first-time guests are warmly welcomed, and they can fully enjoy the unique flavor of hand-made soba, a specialty of Yamagata.

It has a counter and a raised seating area, creating a cozy and calming atmosphere. Even for first-timers, it feels comfortable and seems to be a place of relaxation for the locals. The exterior has a rustic diner style, but once you enter, it has the charm of a small eatery. You can enjoy sashimi and grilled fish while savoring handmade soba at the end. The thick, chewy soba is very delicious, and the chicken soba broth poured from a ceramic jar has a deep flavor. The simmered offal is tender and soft, warming you up when you eat it.
