Excellent Yakitori with rare chicken @ Mukonoso | Happy eating delicious food! When I was looking at my friend's Instagram, I saw a very delicious looking yakitori! The rice at the end of the meal also looks delicious! I immediately commented on it and she took me there! Thank you kind-hearted friend~! Yakitori Taniguchi-san The place is about a 5-minute walk south from Hankyu Mukonoso Station Inside the restaurant is an L-shaped counter seating area. Simple and clean. The chicken used at Taniguchi's is the "Takasaka Chicken," which is called the "Phantom Chicken. A name you may not have heard before. That's because it is a rare chicken that is not widely distributed! First, a toast! Sudachi chu-hai: 450 yen Lately, I like drinks made with sudachi. Refreshing and crisp, it doesn't interfere with the food and tastes great! The menu is First, you order the Yakitori Omakase! I ordered the other dishes as well, combining them myself! We started with sashimi! sashimi sashimi and kelp sashimi Kosaka chicken is aseptic chicken It is said that it can be aged for a long time. Try it and you'll find that the chicken is very moist and keeps its moisture! The more you chew, the deeper the flavor becomes! It is a unique chicken dish that I have never had anywhere else! ■Liver and heart with fresh snow salt The liver and heart have no smell at all, and the crispy texture is superb! The salt on the top is tansuki salt. The delicate and fine texture is enhanced by the ultimate salt that spreads slowly and gradually. After enjoying the sashimi, we ordered the omakase (7 kinds of sashimi) for 2,500 yen! ■Momo-Tataki This was a superb dish! The skin was crispy and the inside was moist and rare! The aroma of the charcoal adds to the flavor of the meat! It was perfect! They come at us in all kinds of patterns, so I'm here for it! Seseri The juiciness of the seseri outweighs its unique texture, and you almost forget that seseri exists! The skewers are skewered in a circular pattern, which is also very unusual! Kinshinbana They are beautifully lined up and stuck on a comb! This bitter taste is delicious! Because it is grilled over charcoal, it tastes even better! Mouth-watering cucumber with yuzu moromi Watery cucumber is delicious as it is, but it tastes even better with moromi miso! This one has a hint of yuzu, so it's very refreshing! You will want to keep on eating it! Tsukune I love tsukune at yakitori restaurants! It's soft and fluffy, and unlike the meaty ones, it's very tender! I watched them being formed into a round shape before grilling, and I could tell that they must be very well-kneaded! Sakuragawa Cider Sakuragawa Cider made by Nose Shuzo It's not too sweet, but rather refreshing and refreshing! Whenever I find a local cider, I always order it! Negima Negima, the royal road to yakitori! You can enjoy both the thigh and the green onion alternately. The thigh is plump and the green onion is sweet. ■Kawa Why is the skin of a good chicken so delicious? The surface is crispy and fragrant, while the inside is moist and juicy The fat spreads in your mouth, but it doesn't linger, and it's light! The skin is a part of the chicken that is often considered a concern, but with a good chicken and a professional griller, it tastes like magic! Kokoro This elasticity, briny and juicy! It's a good source of iron, so girls must like to consume it! The course ends here, and you can add more yakitori on a separate sheet of paper! We don't know what a "full stomach" is, so of course we added more! Kashiwa We ordered this dish because we wanted to simply taste the chicken! Liver The surface of the liver is cooked well, but the inside is tender and rare! It's wonderful! Tsukune Cheese The tsukune was so good that I ordered the cheese as well! The cheese is inside, and when it's done, shave some Parmigiano-Reggiano on top and voila! You can smell the aroma of cheese! The richness and flavor of the cheese makes the tender tsukune a different kind of food! Jumbo Stuffed Mushrooms When the mushrooms are finished cooking, they are shaved with a generous amount of cheese, which again gives off a wonderful aroma! The aroma of the mushrooms is unforgettable! Now for tonight's final meal, the one you've been waiting for! Egg on rice! Five kumquats pickled in soy sauce are placed on top of the rice, one large and one small! You can directly taste the rich yolk when you take it straight to your mouth and break it open! You can also prick the yolk with a toothpick and mix it in with the rice! For a moment, I thought it might not be enough because the rice is white rice, but what the heck! What a surprise! The yolk is so thick that I enjoyed it to the last! Chicken soup The soup included in the omakase was served at the end! It has a light flavor, but the chicken broth is mellow. It is a relief to finish with something warm! I had heard that it was delicious, and it really was! The yakitori is in large portions, so you can enjoy it thoroughly, and all parts are excellent! It is rare to be able to taste the rare "Takasaka Chicken", and the owner does an excellent job of grilling it! It was worth the trip all the way to Mukonoso! I would definitely like to come back and try other parts of the chicken that I didn't taste on this day! Thank you for the food!
