Requested course meals from ¥3,000】→As a general rule, we set the price to be about 20% cheaper than single dishes (about 2 hours). Requested dishes are acceptable: It depends on the number of customers and the course price, but we accept one or two dishes that you would like to have. We have recently posted many of the "3,000 yen and up course meals" served to our customers on the "Menu version of the Eating Log", so please take a look (for reference)...❣️ The photo shows some of the requested dishes we served to a reservation for two people from outside of the prefecture for a 5,000 yen course.
Enjoy alcohol in moderation...❣️ As you may know, excessive drinking can have negative effects on your health (especially for those concerned about beautiful skin...). ★★★ If you would like to participate in the 'All-You-Can-Drink' offer, it is ¥2000 for 2 hours per person. This includes a variety of drinks such as Korean makgeolli, Korean soju, Japanese beer, and Japanese shochu, all available in the dedicated all-you-can-drink refrigerator for your enjoyment... Feel free to help yourself.
For those without paid drinking water, we have a water server that uses mineral water. Since it is for those without paid drinking water, you can help yourself... (self-service) ⇒ free. The owner of our store also drinks it regularly, so we have carefully selected water and teas (for health and beautiful skin... as you may know, everything you consume, including drinking water, greatly affects your health, so be cautious...). We provide Korean teas that are good for health and beauty, including Japanese tea. For those who do not consume paid beverages... ⇒ there is a water server (purifier) that uses spring water. It is simply free, so it is self-service (you can freely choose the types of tea).
Beef Bulgogi for two or more. Course meals start from ¥4000. For individual orders, other dishes such as Sanchu (Korean lettuce) and Namul are charged separately (however, our homemade healthy kimchi is included in the set). For health reasons, we always use 'low-fat' beef (instead, we add a little sesame oil, which contains essential fatty acids, omega-6). Healthy beef bulgogi (since the stomach lacks digestive enzymes to break down fat). Especially for 'older customers' like our owner, excessive fat intake may lead to gastrointestinal issues (if you are concerned about the details, please search online). The soy sauce-based seasoning (which includes ingredients like apple and onion that help tenderize the meat and also benefit gut health) allows all generations, including infants and the elderly who may dislike spicy food, to enjoy 'Korean BBQ cuisine'! In Korea, stainless steel or copper pots are common, but we use iron cooking tools to aid in the absorption of the essential mineral 'iron' for the human body. Even for individual orders, recently, for our customers' health, our 'homemade healthy kimchi' is included in the set! Beef bulgogi is prepared on the table using a table roaster. [The dish photo is of the individual serving of beef bulgogi for four people provided to reserved customers.]
Beef Bulgogi. ★ Course meals start from 4000 yen... (Our restaurant offers lean meat with mild flavor and no spiciness, making it suitable for those with weak stomachs and small children!). The sweetness comes from apples and onions... You can wrap it with lettuce (Korean, referring to types of leafy greens) or perilla leaves as you like... ⇒ The saltiness can be adjusted with our homemade raw miso 'Ssamjang'. ★★★ Our homemade 'additive-free healthy kimchi' is included in the set... 【The dish photo is of the single order of beef bulgogi for 2 servings provided to reserved customers】.
Pork Bulgogi for 2 or more. ★ Course meals start from ¥3000. Gochujang (Korean chili paste) flavor. ⇒ Spiciness can be adjusted. ★★★ Currently, our restaurant uses low-fat pork shoulder (for health reasons...!) ⇒ Traditional pork belly (Samgyeopsal) is available by reservation. Cooking tools include a 'stone plate' that has far-infrared effects and is resistant to cooling. For a la carte items, Sanchu (= leafy lettuce) is available for an additional charge. Cheese topping is also available ⇒ ¥2000 per serving. The meat is grilled in the kitchen and served, but if it cools down, a traditional BBQ table roaster available at the table can be used. ★ For a la carte items ⇒ The Sanchu (Korean leafy lettuce) shown in the food photo is not included. 【The food photo is for approximately 3 servings】
Pork Bulgogi ⇒ for 2 servings ~. ★★★ Our restaurant uses 'low saturated fat' pork shoulder for health reasons...★★★★★ [While taste and presentation are important, the most important thing is how the dish affects 'health'! ❣️]. [The dish photo is from a ¥4000 course provided to young customers who are experts in health issues ⇒ for 4 servings]
Samgyeopsal (in Korean, refers to pork belly) ⇒ For two servings ~ ★★★ Our restaurant, for health reasons, uses pork shoulder instead of fatty pork belly... ★ Course meals start from ¥3000. In the case of the ¥3000 course, unlike other Korean grilled meat dishes at our restaurant, it comes with vegetables like Sanchu (in Korean, = leafy lettuce) and homemade 'Mixed Kimchi' (without additives), so the meat (low-fat pork shoulder) is the main focus ⇒ Of course, rice and soup are also included... The ¥4000 course includes a variety of dishes beyond just meat... and unlimited refills of wrapping vegetables {occasionally, we also prepare 'Choregi Salad' (vegetable salad) with a little extra effort...}. For a la carte orders, the side dishes are for three servings ~ ⇒ 3 items (including Namul, etc.), and for two servings, 2 items (our homemade healthy 'Kimchi' and 'Samu' which is pickled radish...). Although it takes some effort, to prevent food poisoning caused by undercooked meat (especially pork and chicken...), we grill 80% in the kitchen... and the remaining 20% is cooked to the customer's preference (on a table roaster...) ⇒ Our meat is thickly sliced, so we take care to ensure it is cooked through... (If you're curious about why, please search online...). Served on a 'stone frying pan' that retains heat well... Our restaurant currently uses low-fat pork shoulder (for health reasons...) ⇒ If reserved, we can also prepare salt-grilled pork belly (in Korean, Samgyeopsal) upon request. 【The dish photo is of the a la carte Samgyeopsal served to customers, for two servings】
Samgyeopsal for 2 servings. ★ The course meal is ¥3000 and above. ★★★ Instead of the fatty pork belly, we use lean pork shoulder for health reasons. The cooking tools are stone plates that retain heat well and emit far infrared rays (80% is grilled in the kitchen, and the remaining is grilled on a dedicated table grill to your preferred doneness). As it is a course meal, it includes lettuce, our homemade kimchi, rice, and soup (refills for rice and kimchi are free). 【The dish photo shows the Samgyeopsal served to customers in the ¥3000 course using pork shoulder for 4 servings】.
Samgyeopsal for 2 servings. Main dish of the ¥3000 course. ★★★ Our restaurant uses pork shoulder instead of fatty pork belly for health reasons. 【The dish photo is of the main dish 'Samgyeopsal' served to customers of the ¥3000 course for 2 servings during their meal】
Samgyeopsal ⇒ For 2 servings~. ★★★ In Korea, pork belly is the main ingredient, but our restaurant uses pork shoulder with less saturated fat for health reasons instead of the traditional samgyeopsal (which means pork belly in Korean)… The ¥5000 course includes various other dishes as well… Of course, since it is a course meal, our restaurant's pride, handmade 'additive-free healthy kimchi', and 'mochi barley rice', which is high in soluble dietary fiber and serves as food for good bacteria, are available for unlimited refills! Since there were three young male guests, the portion was larger… (about 4 servings). 【The dish photo is of the pork shoulder grilled dish provided to the ¥5000 course customer upon request ⇒ about 4 servings】
Pork Belly (Korean ⇒ refers to pork belly) ⇒ Main dish, for two people. Lightly salted seasoning. In the case of a single order, side dishes other than 'kimchi' and pickled radish 'sammu' are not included. ★ Course meals start from 3000 yen. Young people, regardless of the country, often prefer foods that are not health-conscious (Korea is no exception!). Many Koreans (especially the younger generation) enjoy the grilled pork belly (Korean, pork belly) for its savory aroma and taste that comes from the fat, but currently, our restaurant does not serve pork belly to customers except by reservation for health reasons (as excessive intake can lead to various health issues due to high levels of 'saturated fatty acids'... (For more details, please search online...) ⇒ Instead, for health reasons, we serve 'less fatty' pork shoulder...! ★★ Recently, there seem to be quite a few 'pork belly specialty restaurants' in Korea that offer various types of meat to customers... (Our restaurant is open to customer reservations = requests). Pork Belly ⇒ for two people. Lightly salted grilled. Main dish (other than 'kimchi' and 'sammu', side dishes are not included ⇒ additional charges apply). ★ Course meals start from ¥3000. 'Pork belly' (the belly part of pork) is popular among young people, but it is known that consuming too much meat high in saturated fatty acids can be harmful to health (if you want to know more details, please search online...).
Cheese Dakgalbi (for 2 servings or more). ★ Course meals start from ¥3000. Our restaurant offers chicken thighs, vegetables, mushrooms, tteokbokki rice cakes, etc., and finally, melting cheese. It is flavored with Korean chili pepper paste 'Gochujang' (spiciness can be adjusted). The noticeable fat from the chicken thighs (which contains a lot of saturated fatty acids) will be removed as much as possible (the fatty skin can be excluded upon customer request). Instead, a little sesame oil, which contains essential fatty acid omega-6 (an oil that is necessary for the human body but can cause obesity and inflammation if consumed in excess; for more details, please search online). Based on the chef's cooking experience, sesame oil seems to eliminate the unique smell of chicken (the chef believes that the aromatic molecules in sesame oil encapsulate the unpleasant odor molecules of chicken). ★ Even fresh chicken can harbor bacteria that cause food poisoning, so please ensure it is cooked thoroughly. ★★★★★ Raw meat and insufficiently cooked food can pose risks of food poisoning from Campylobacter, Salmonella, etc. If you are concerned, please search online. 'Special Cheese Dakgalbi' is available for ¥2000 (with more abundant ingredients like cheese). 【The dish photo is from a course meal provided to customers who reserved the ¥3000 course (for 3 servings).】
Peeled garlic. When eaten raw, it has a strong smell and can irritate the stomach if consumed in excess, but as you may know, it has various benefits (antibacterial properties, cancer prevention, etc.). The reason many Koreans have smooth and beautiful skin may also be due to garlic...!? (It is rich in vitamin B, which is good for skin health...) However, the quantity should be moderate... (If you are curious about why, please search online...). It is one of the 'basic condiments' in Korean cuisine (including various dishes like kimchi...). The garlic consumption among Koreans is among the highest in the world...! Peeled garlic. It is one type of vegetable that is mostly used in Korean cuisine. Raw garlic has a strong smell and can strongly irritate the stomach when consumed in large amounts, but it is a healthy vegetable with various benefits such as antibacterial effects and cancer prevention (just remember to consume it in moderation...) ⇒ If you are curious about why, please search online... The garlic consumption among Koreans is also among the highest in the world (it is used in almost all Korean dishes, including various types of kimchi...) ⇒ Could the reason many Koreans have porcelain-like skin be due to the benefits of garlic!?
Bone-in pork ribs (for 2 or more). Gochujang (Korean chili paste) flavor ⇒ spiciness can be adjusted. Fatty parts will be removed during seasoning. Similar to pork bulgogi, but with bones (a bit tough, but the meat around the bones is rich in collagen. Since it's rib meat, there is a bit of fat). 80% is grilled in the kitchen... (using infrared and heat-retaining stone plates...) ⇒ the rest is done according to the customer's preference... (with a dedicated table roaster...). Cheaper than bone-in beef ribs, but rich in nutrients. The vitamin B1 unique to pork helps improve skin health... and when consumed with garlic, the synergistic effect increases. Bone-in pork ribs (for 2 or more). A bit tough meat, but the meat around the pork rib bones contains a lot of collagen. The meat attached to the bones is tasty, but in Japan, boneless rib meat is usually more convenient to eat. Gochujang flavor ⇒ spiciness is according to customer preference... The restaurant grills 80% in the kitchen (using infrared and excellent heat-retaining stone frying pans) ⇒ the rest is done according to customer preference... (with a table-specific roaster...). The price is cheaper than beef ribs, but the nutritional value is rich (especially the vitamin B1 unique to pork helps with skin beauty... and the synergistic effect is excellent when consumed with garlic).
Bone-in extra large beef short ribs (from 2 servings). ★ Course meals start from ¥5000. Reservation required 4-5 days in advance. 'Vegetables' ⇒ Sanchu (Korean, types of leafy lettuce) or perilla leaves, along with our pride, handmade additive-free mixed kimchi. The extra large bone-in beef short ribs are based on a soy sauce flavor... Starting from 2 servings (approximately 500 grams), very filling (by the way, depending on the restaurant, a typical serving of grilled meat is about 100 grams). Short rib meat is originally a fatty type of meat, but we remove noticeable fat during seasoning for health reasons. Since it is meat around the bone, it can be a bit tough, but it is rich in collagen... (In Korea, it has always been a high-end ingredient, but in Japan, where people are used to tender meat, this slightly chewy meat seems to be a matter of preference...! It seems to relate to the strength of teeth ⇒ however, it is full of natural umami). Currently, 80% of the cooking is done in the kitchen and served, while 20% of the doneness is done on the table with the table roaster installed... (Customers can choose their preferred doneness. 【The food photo is of the extra large bone-in short ribs served to reserved customers ⇒ for 3 servings】 Wang Sogalbi (with rib bones) ⇒ from 2 servings ~. ★ Course meals start from ¥5000. 'Sanchu' or 'perilla leaves' and our handmade additive-free 'kimchi ⇒ can also be water kimchi in the summer' are included in the set. Fuku-chan Restaurant currently grills 80% in the kitchen (the rest is done according to customer preference on the table roaster installed...). Short rib meat is originally fatty, but for health reasons, noticeable meat fat is removed during seasoning. Whether in the past or now, it is considered a high-end dish in Korea (but it seems that the slightly tough natural meat is not very popular in Japan, where people are used to tender meat!). Reservation is essential 4-5 days in advance, for 2 servings (approximately 500g) ~ (it varies by restaurant, but in Japan, a typical serving of meat is about 100g before and after). 【The food photo is of the Wang Galbi served to reserved customers for 3 servings】
Some of the ingredients used in our dishes (the price is higher because they are directly related to health, but we try to use additive-free ones…). The owner also eats the same dishes, so we are careful in selecting ingredients…
Sanchu (in Korean) = Sunnyleaf type. It is an essential vegetable in Korean cuisine (a type of vegetable rich in dietary fiber, folic acid, and other nutrients) ⇒ If you are concerned about nutritional value, please search online... Our restaurant offers a Sanchu salad (a vegetable salad based on sunnyleaf = Choregi salad) without using hands, but also with 'Sanchu and Ssamjang miso'... ⇒ The Sanchu salad (=Choregi salad) is available as a single item, but course meals start from 4000 yen... ⇒ If you are concerned about nutritional value, please search online.
Perilla leaf. In Korea, it is a type of aromatic vegetable that is eaten by wrapping meat, sashimi, etc. with vegetables, often layered with Sanchu (Korean for butter lettuce). In Korea, it can be eaten raw, stir-fried, added to hot pots, or pickled in a kimchi style. While many people in Korea prefer it, in Japan, it has a unique aroma and a slightly tough texture, leading to clear likes and dislikes. It belongs to the mint family and, like shiso, has antibacterial and preservative properties. Particularly, perilla oil, pressed from the seeds, is rich in essential fatty acids like omega-3 fatty acids (alpha-linolenic acid), which are essential for 'vascular health' and 'brain health.' It is said to eliminate the odors of meat and fish (for more details, please search online). Our restaurant occasionally offers 'perilla leaf kimchi' (low salt, available for takeout with a reservation 2-3 days in advance, starting at ¥1000). Perilla leaves are a popular wrapping vegetable in Korea, but in Japan, they are often viewed with prejudice due to their unique aroma.
Green chili pepper. In Japan, there is no habit of eating it raw, but in Korea, it is eaten raw with grilled meat and sashimi, along with lettuce, as 'sweet green chili pepper' (as you may know, vitamin C is sensitive to heat, so it makes sense to consume it raw to retain the nutrients of the vegetables...!). It is a common type of vegetable (the spiciness of chili peppers varies from sweet to spicy depending on the type). It contains many essential nutrients for beautiful skin (especially rich in vitamin C), so if you're interested, please search online... The owner also serves it almost every day during the peak season (mainly summer) raw with miso (sambal miso) (there are house-grown ones available year-round, but outdoor-grown ones are not always available...). [The chili pepper in the photo is a sweet green chili pepper grown by local grandmothers, similar to the Kyoto Manganji sweet chili pepper]. The green chili pepper is said to be rich in various nutrients (including vitamin C, which is good for skin beauty) ⇒ if you're concerned, search online... The taste when dipped in gochujang or ssamjang is the pure taste of the vegetable itself! (Especially when eating meat, it eliminates the greasy taste of the meat and also helps to remove the fishy smell). Although house-grown green chili peppers are available year-round, they are in season during the summer. [The green chili pepper in the photo is a non-spicy seasonal green chili pepper grown by local grandmothers].
Choregi Salad (Korean Language in Japan?!). Basic 'Vegetable Salad' made with Sanchu (Korean, a type of lettuce). This is a plate dish served to customers of course meals, but the lower part is 'Choregi Salad' ⇒ a vegetable salad mainly featuring Sanchu, which is a Japanese-style Korean dish (?!). In our course meals (4000 yen course and above), we sometimes serve a vegetable salad instead of Sanchu (a type of lettuce) that can be wrapped with meat. In Japanese yakiniku restaurants, it is also called 'Choregi Salad', but as far as the owner knows, there is no such dish name in Korea!!! ⇒ Probably, the owner thinks it is a word developed from a Korean dialect (?!). ★ There is also a special vegetable salad (with a lot of variety and quantity) ⇒ ¥800. 【The dish photo is a plate dish served to customers of course meals】
Choregi Salad. A vegetable salad mainly featuring Sanchu (Korean, a type of leafy lettuce). ★ For course meals over ¥4000, Sanchu may be replaced depending on the situation... It allows for the intake of enzymes from raw vegetables, making it healthy (our restaurant uses more than 10 types of vegetables) ⇒ health food. The meat in the dish photo is not included. 【The dish photo is approximately for 3 servings】 Choregi Salad (a vegetable salad based on Sanchu). ★ Occasionally served to guests for course meals over ¥4000. In Japanese 'yakiniku restaurants', it is also referred to as 'Choregi Salad' (Japanese-style Korean!?). This 'Choregi Salad' uses more than 10 types of vegetables that are said to be good for health (including enzymes that greatly contribute to health maintenance through the intake of raw vegetables) ⇒ healthy vegetable salad. The meat in the photo is not included. 【The dish photo is approximately for 3 servings】
Ssamjang (in Korean). In Korea, it is an essential 'all-purpose miso' when eating meat and raw vegetables. Especially, it is indispensable for 'Samgyeopsal' (in Korean, referring to pork belly). Our restaurant uses protein-rich soybean miso as the main ingredient... (Korea's basic miso is soybean miso, but Japan has various types of miso). If you're curious, please search online... Our Ssamjang miso is handmade at our restaurant... (Although there are many commercially available Korean products, at this age, I am concerned about additives...). This is 'raw miso' that has not been heated, so the nutrients such as digestive enzymes, koji mold, lactic acid bacteria, and vitamins are preserved...! It is a fermented food miso that is good for the body (especially rich in lactic acid bacteria, which is beneficial for intestinal health...). To counter the weakness of miso, which is 'to reduce saltiness', we add plenty of nutritious, oxidation-resistant, and easily absorbable 'ground sesame'...! (For a mild Ssamjang...) This is an additive-free healthy miso. Our Ssamjang miso has a restrained sweetness (Korean cuisine, unlike Japanese cuisine, often does not include much sweetness). By the way, in Korea, there is a strong image that Japanese food is sweet! Takeout is ¥1000 (for orders over ¥1000, please make a reservation... For reservations, the spiciness can be adjusted to the customer's preference... (Please let us know when making a reservation).
Side dish set. ★★★ For the purpose of [oxidation prevention], all items except for kimchi will be prepared upon order. 4-dish set ⇒ 1,000 yen (★ Reservation required ⇒ for 'food waste reduction', 'oxidation prevention', etc., for 2 servings or more). 6-dish set ⇒ 1,500 yen (★ Reservation required ⇒ for 'food waste reduction', 'oxidation prevention', etc., for 2 servings or more). 8-dish set ⇒ 2,000 yen (★ Reservation required ⇒ for 'food waste reduction', 'oxidation prevention', etc., for 2 servings or more). Vegetarians, please inform us in advance. 【The dish photo is of the 4-dish set requested by a customer who reserved the 3,000 yen course】
Perilla leaf kimchi. ★ Perilla leaves are nutritious vegetables (if you're curious, search online...), and we also include other vegetables... (it depends on your preference, but to prevent excessive salt intake, we serve it with a light salad flavor...). ★ As it ages, the natural bitterness of the vegetables becomes more pronounced, so it is always 'reservation required' for freshness... ★ [Takeout requires reservation at least 2-3 days in advance, 500 yen per serving (for two or more servings), while a light flavor is good for health, the salt concentration can be adjusted according to customer preference...] ★ Originally, it is a strongly salted preserved food, but we serve it with a light flavor like a vegetable salad... (for health reasons...). ★ It can be a side dish for rice, but since our version is light, it is better enjoyed with meat and other dishes like a vegetable salad... Perilla leaf kimchi. ★ The saltiness varies according to customer preference, but we always keep it mild (to prevent excessive salt intake...), and for health, we include other vegetables (like onions and carrots...) as well. ★ It is good as a side dish for rice, but since it is a mild perilla leaf kimchi, it is better enjoyed with meat and other dishes like a vegetable salad... ★ [Takeout requires reservation at least 2-3 days in advance (salt concentration can be adjusted according to customer preference..., 500 yen per serving for two or more servings)].
Mixed nuts. Served to customers of our course meals, 'side dishes (bottom right side dish)'. Various nuts, sardines, sesame, etc. ⇒ Healthy food (rich in vitamin E, especially good for beautiful skin... Rich in DHA and EPA, such as sardines... ⇒ However, for various reasons, the quantity should be moderate...). If trying at home, it is worth the price, but use fresh ingredients (walnuts, which are high in omega-3 fatty acids, are prone to oxidation...) ⇒ By the way, it seems that hospitals in Korea actively recommend omega-3 fatty acids (including supplements)! ★ Our seasoning is simply mixed with a little sesame oil, which is an essential fatty acid omega-6, and honey... The saltiness is sufficient with the saltiness of the sardines. 'Honey Mixed Nuts and Sardines' is a dish that is good for the body and should be consumed at least once a day as long as your teeth are strong (good for beauty and health, especially for 'vascular health' and 'brain health', as it is rich in omega-3 fatty acids...). Nuts have various health benefits, but they are also rich in vitamin E, which is linked to beautiful skin (antioxidant effect)! ⇒ If you are interested, please search online... For takeout for those who have dined, please order in advance... ⇒ (To prevent oxidation, we make it in small quantities... for two servings~).

It improves gut health and has various benefits, especially fermented kimchi, which is great for skin beauty (the best cosmetic food based on experience). The sweetness comes from apples and this time, we used more tomatoes, which are known for their strong antioxidant properties. Interestingly, I found that in Korea, 'instant tomato kimchi' dishes are quite popular, which surprised me! It seems everyone is thinking of recipes with healthy tomatoes! The umami flavor comes from mineral-rich kelp. For health reasons, we have adjusted the 'saltiness' and 'spiciness' of the kimchi to a milder taste. Our restaurant offers additive-free mixed kimchi for health.
Our handmade 'Healthy Mixed Kimchi'. Young people who often look at 'gourmet sites' may be far removed from 'healthy food', but if you pay attention to your diet from a young age, you will definitely notice a difference... Using various types of vegetables for health ⇒ If possible, using seasonal vegetables grown by nearby grandmothers… (While there are nutritional aspects, we are especially careful about issues like pesticide problems that are becoming a concern these days…) ★★★★★ 'Saltiness' and 'spiciness' are kept mild (In Korea, sweet and salty food is trending in dining out, but from a 'health perspective', it is the worst ⇒ This seems to be a major issue that the dining industry should reflect on‼️ (Especially, the 'health issues' of the younger generation who enjoy food without much thought are serious) ⇒ Japan likely isn't an exception❗️. Our restaurant uses Korean miso, tofu, seafood, meat, garlic, natto (nutrient-rich natto, but can be omitted based on customer preference), and vegetables (preferably seasonal vegetables grown by local grandmothers for high nutritional value). The soup can be customized to the customer's preference... (e.g., meat broth, seafood broth, etc.). Takkanmari (in Korean means one whole chicken). In Korea, it is known as a 'specialty restaurant dish'... (mainly in Seoul...). Reservation is required... It is similar to Japanese chicken hot pot, but since it uses a whole chicken, it takes quite a long time to prepare (about 1 hour or more...). While cooking, you can enjoy it with noodles, rice, dumplings, or Korean tteokguk rice cake... ⇒ You can enjoy the dish twice (flavor change ⇒ since it is not spicy, it is popular among foreigners, but for those who like spicy food, you can add Korean chili powder to make it a bit spicy...). ★ Our restaurant also offers various health benefits (glucosamine, chondroitin, hyaluronic acid, etc.), and it has skin-beautifying effects, with a 'rich collagen soup' (beef bone soup, oxtail soup, etc.) served together... Depending on customer preferences, recently, to boost immunity, we add a little of our homemade kimchi to the seafood pancake, but since there were small children, we omitted the kimchi... ★ For other dishes, we also omit spicy 'condiments' for the small children... Dried jujube. In our Samgyetang (Korean ginseng chicken soup, which is made by stuffing a whole chicken with ginseng, chestnuts, jujube, glutinous rice, and various other ingredients, then simmering), it is essential to add a generous amount because it also has skin-beautifying effects. This fruit, which is rich in various nutrients (with a taste similar to dried prunes), is said to be abundant in saponins, a key component of ginseng that is also good for the skin. It is high in dietary fiber, which particularly affects gut health (by the way, it is said that the ancient Chinese beauty Yang Guifei also loved to eat it!?). The owner also uses it as a substitute for regular fruit when they run out of fruit... (However, if customers try it, please note that, like other dried fruits, it is high in sugar, so consume in moderation...). Since jujube is high in health benefits and nutritional value, in Korea, it is used in herbal medicine, teas, rice cakes, and recently even in snacks like chips... For more detailed information, please search online.
Samgyetang = Ginseng Chicken Soup (in Korean). In Korea, it is typically served with a set of kimchi, so there are not many vegetables in Samgyetang, but at our restaurant, we include various vegetables (the types of vegetables change each time)... Samgyetang alone lacks 'dietary fiber', which greatly affects intestinal health. A whole chicken is stuffed with various ingredients (glutinous rice, jujube, chestnuts, garlic, ginseng, etc.) and simmered to create a dish that is healthy, rich in collagen and dietary fiber, and good for beauty. Our homemade mixed kimchi is also included... We also offer other soups rich in collagen, glucosamine, chondroitin, etc. (such as beef bone soup = bone broth soup)... Healthy food, nutritious food, beauty food. In Korea, it is also eaten on 'special summer days' to prevent summer fatigue (like eel on the 'Doyo no Ushi no Hi' in Japan). For flavor variation, while cooking, those who like spicy food can add Korean red pepper powder... Enjoy the dish twice with dumplings, rice, noodles, etc. In Korea, it is only 'Samgyetang'. The dish photo is of the main menu Samgyetang served to customers on the ¥3000 course during their meal. Samgyetang is a great dish even in cold winter, but especially a 'health food', 'nourishing food', and 'beauty food' for the hot summer. Our restaurant uses 'rich bone broth' that is good for skin beauty, joint health, and is rich in glucosamine, chondroitin, and hyaluronic acid. We also use a lot of nutritious jujube... Unlike Korean Samgyetang (which is served with kimchi), we consider the important 'dietary fiber' for health and include plenty of vegetables in our Samgyetang. Especially in the cold winter, our restaurant serves it while cooking... (For those who enjoy spicy flavors, we offer seasoning red pepper powder... You can enjoy the main dish and later dishes like rice, noodles, and dumplings twice) in Korea, it is only Samgyetang. The dish photo is of the requested Samgyetang from a customer on the ¥3000 course during their meal.
Samgyetang. A dish provided to customers on the ¥3000 course. Since it is a course meal, other dishes are also shown, but the black Korean earthenware dish is Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup). You can enjoy the dish twice by adding noodles, rice, dumplings, or tteokguk rice cakes (in authentic Korea, it is served as samgyetang only). Our restaurant also serves a rich soup (bone broth soup, tail soup, etc.) that is abundant in collagen, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, and chondroitin... ★ Our handmade mixed kimchi... (seasoned in a mild, easy-to-eat flavor). ★ In cold seasons, it can be cooked while... (you can enjoy the dish twice with additional rice, noodles, dumplings, etc. ⇒ flavor change). ★ There is also 'Special Gamjatang' ⇒ uses a lot of collagen-rich beef tendons, bone-in pork ribs or spare ribs, bone-in chicken, etc., along with plenty of leafy vegetables including potatoes... {‘Special Gamjatang’ ⇒ ¥4000 (serves about 2-3 people)}, reservation required. ★★ The types of meat may change occasionally, but our restaurant uses ingredients rich in collagen for beautiful skin. Kimchi Pancake. It has skin-beautifying effects and is rich in dietary fiber. The 'Kimchi' contains various seasonings and vegetables, which boost immunity (especially the aged (fermented) kimchi, which is rich in lactic acid bacteria). Various ingredients are used (our restaurant uses not only fermented kimchi but also vegetables, seafood, and lean meats). If you try it at home, Korean pancake flour is fine, but since the kimchi is salty, it may turn out a bit salty (our restaurant uses a unique blend of wheat flour, rice flour, etc.). As a side note, in Korea, it is said that on rainy days, this dish is particularly popular in households (there are various theories as to why). There is also a special kimchi pancake for ¥1500 (the size is the same as the ¥1000 kimchi pancake, and it is rich in various vegetables and lean meats, of course, as well as seafood). For vegetarians, please let us know in advance (our restaurant includes animal protein meat, so we can substitute tofu for plant-based protein).
The ingredients for our chijimi. It's quite a popular menu item and a nutritious dish, but during the hot summer, if you don't make a reservation, you have to constantly monitor the heat, so it's not a dish we want to make too much (we use more than 8 types of vegetables, so cutting them is also quite a task). ★ A simple (single type of ingredients ⇒ flour, chives, spicy chili) chijimi is also available ⇒ nostalgic taste of mother, festivals, street food, etc. (please let us know in advance). The ingredients for the seafood chijimi at Fukuchan Restaurant (more than eight types of vegetables, eggs, meat, tofu, shrimp or squid, etc.). Orders from those who did not make a reservation during the hot summer are a bit difficult to prepare ⇒ because we use various ingredients like vegetables... ★ A simple (simple ingredients ⇒ flour, chives, spicy green chili) chijimi is also available by reservation ⇒ mother's homemade taste, festival food, market food, etc. (please let us know in advance).
Seafood Chijimi. Ingredients include (scallops or squid or shrimp) and meat, eggs, vegetables (recently, to boost immunity, our homemade 'Additive-Free Mixed Kimchi' is also available... → However, it can be omitted based on customer preference). With a secret ingredient of tofu and ground sesame... ★ Our restaurant uniquely blends wheat flour and rice flour (the ratio is a secret, but using rice flour makes it crispy...). If you have food allergies, please inform us in advance... ★ 'Special Seafood Chijimi' is also available for ¥1500 (with a richer variety of ingredients...). [The dish photo is approximately a serving for two of the regular seafood chijimi].
Cheese Chijimi. Topped with 'melting cheese' on Kimchi Chijimi, Seafood Chijimi, etc. Until now (2023), it was a dish in the high-priced course meal, 'chef's special dish', but it is quite popular, so if you wish, please order Chijimi and let us know (if preferences vary, half and half is also possible). ¥1500, ¥2000 available (for special ingredient Chijimi). As a 'side menu' for course meals starting from ¥4000... [The dish photo is a side menu provided to course meal customers].
Seafood pancake (regular). Since COVID-19 (2021 onwards), we have been mindful of boosting immunity and dietary fiber, so we add a little of our handmade mixed kimchi (can be omitted for those who dislike kimchi or for small children). We usually include large shrimp, but if you have a dislike for shrimp, other ingredients can be substituted (please inform us in advance). [The dish photo is of a regular seafood pancake served to a customer who made a lunch reservation, one serving].
Seafood Chijimi (regular) with plenty of vegetables. Depending on the customer's preference, recently, to boost 'immunity', we add a little of our homemade kimchi... (which also adds 'depth' to the flavor of the chijimi...). This chijimi was made for female customers of a similar age to the owner, so we specially selected vegetables like broccoli, which has strong antioxidant properties and is also good for beautiful skin... (as you know, food greatly affects the skin...). This time, the seafood includes squid, which is high in taurine... 【The dish photo is of a regular seafood chijimi served to customers (one serving) ⇒ during the meal】
Bossam (in Korean). The meat is boiled (excess fat is removed), making it a healthy dish (great as a side for rice or alcohol... - Especially perfect for hot summer days when you have no appetite). Boiled pork (we use low-fat pork shoulder for health reasons) topped with mixed kimchi (our pride, handmade mixed kimchi using over 8 types of vegetables). For children, we serve it with 'Sammu' (a non-spicy pickled radish dish - spiciness 0). 'Sammu' (in Korean) - featured in the food photos on Tabelog. ★ We also have a special bossam for 1500 yen (boiled pork and kimchi) with plenty of handmade kimchi... and lettuce (in Korean, = Sani lettuce). 【The food photo is of the regular single serving bossam served to customers - for 2 people】.
Special Pork Belly (Korean) ⇒ Reservation required. ★ The meat is the same as regular pork belly, but for those who are not fond of kimchi (those concerned about the saltiness of kimchi and the smell of garlic), instead of kimchi, we use a 'vegetable salad' made with over 10 types of vegetables... (including fragrant perilla leaves...) ⇒ The seasoning is kept as light as possible... (adjusted with ssamjang sauce). 【The dish photo is of a pork belly dish provided to customers who reserved the 4500 yen course and requested it】
Stir-fried squid (serves about 1-2 people). ★ Stir-fried dish with squid and a variety of vegetables (using seasonal vegetables...), based on gochujang (Korean chili pepper paste) (a milder flavor is healthier, but spiciness and saltiness can be adjusted to the customer's preference...). ★ High protein, low-fat meal ⇒ healthy food (rich in taurine, which helps liver function). The taste is similar to stir-fried octopus. ★ There is also a home-style dish called 'Ikamuchim' (muchim means 'to mix' in Korean) ⇒ a dish where fresh squid is briefly blanched and mixed with vegetables (with gochujang and vinegar, etc... freshness is important, so 'reservation required'... course meals start from ¥5000 as a side menu). 【The dish photo is of the 'Stir-fried Squid' served to customers, one serving ⇒ during the meal】.
Stir-fried octopus. A stir-fry dish made with octopus and various vegetables (we use a variety of vegetables). It is a stir-fry dish based on gochujang (Korean chili paste). Currently, we mainly use 'Iidako' (low-fat, high-protein) ⇒ at the customer's request, we can also use regular octopus (Asinagako, which is a common ingredient in Korea, unlike in Japan). 'Spiciness' and 'saltiness' can be adjusted according to the customer's preference. Rich in dietary fiber, vitamin D, which is closely related to calcium absorption and immunity, is abundant in 'Mokyubuseon' (wood ear mushroom) and is used generously... (There is also a mini version of stir-fried octopus for ¥1000). ★★ Octopus is rich in 'taurine' (a type of protein with excellent health benefits), which has recently become popular in Japan, but has been a popular ingredient in Korea for a long time ⇒ for more details, please search online... Pork Kimchi. Stir-fried dish with pork (we use low-fat shoulder loin) and our proudly homemade kimchi (the fermentation level of the kimchi can be adjusted to the customer's preference). If enjoyed at home, it can be paired with tofu for health benefits, which helps reduce excessive salt intake and provides plant-based protein (in summer, it can be served as cold tofu, and otherwise, warm tofu is recommended). The spiciness can be adjusted to the customer's liking. We use a low-salt seasoning (as we use unseasoned, low-fat meat and various fresh vegetables). Sesame oil is used moderately.
Japchae (in Korean, meaning mixed vegetables) is a dish centered around sweet potato noodles, containing essential nutrients needed by the body, typically served as a staple, main dish, or side dish. Our restaurant uses less oil, specifically essential fatty acids and omega-6 sesame oil. In Korean households, it is often made for special occasions (such as weddings and funerals), so the portion is generous, and it is traditionally a mixed dish (with a short shelf life) that we stir-fry fresh each time. ★ Sweet potato noodles (made from sweet potato starch sourced from Korea) mixed with vegetables or stir-fried. Any vegetables can be used, but we use fewer noodles (as sweet potato noodles can rapidly increase blood sugar levels due to their high glycemic index), and instead, we include more meat, various vegetables, and mushrooms to consider health and nutritional balance. Recently (since COVID-19), we have made it a point to always include 'wood ear mushrooms' as they have various health benefits and are rich in vitamin D, which is essential for calcium absorption, making them one of the ingredients that boost immunity. ★ We also offer a 'Special Japchae' for ¥1500, which includes plenty of seafood for those who enjoy it, along with meat (overall, a hearty dish). Vegetarians, please inform us in advance. 【The dish photo shows a standard serving of Japchae for two people.】
Japchae (in Korean). Our restaurant uses less of the high-carb glass noodles (Japanese glass noodles seem to be made from different ingredients, but Korean glass noodles are made from sweet potato starch...) for health reasons (the noodles are starchy, so they have a high GI value!). The other ingredients are abundant... especially 'wood ear mushrooms,' which are rich in vitamin D and dietary fiber (important for gut health)... (the nutritional balance is 'good even with just Japchae!' - including carbohydrates, fats, proteins, minerals, vitamins, dietary fiber, etc.). [The dish photo is of the two servings of Japchae served to the customer]. Japchae. For health, we use very little of the high-carb glass noodles (Tangmyeon), and the other ingredients are plentiful... It is said that it came from China long ago, hence the name Tangmyeon (a dish full of nutrition). 'Wood ear mushrooms,' which are high in vitamin D and dietary fiber, are a must... The types of vegetables may vary slightly each time. [The dish photo is of the two servings of Japchae served to the customer].
Sundae (Korean). A dish made from pig intestines stuffed with glass noodles, glutinous rice, pig's blood, and vegetables, then steamed. There are two types: glass noodle sundae and glutinous rice sundae. It is rich in iron and nutritious, but has a unique smell (similar to tonkotsu ramen), which makes it a dish that people either love or hate. The owner fondly remembers it from the past and likes it, but I think even in Korea, opinions are divided! Sundae. There are two types: glass noodle sundae and glutinous rice sundae (reservation required 2-3 days in advance). It contains a lot of iron needed by the body, but due to its unique smell, it tends to be a dish that people are picky about, especially Japanese people in Japan.
Tteokbokki (in Korean). A popular menu item at our restaurant. A classic street food dish (originally, it is only rice cakes, but at our restaurant, for health reasons, we use less fatty meat, various vegetables, and always include wood ear mushrooms... Tteokbokki is almost all carbohydrates, like white rice, so we consider blood sugar levels...). Gochujang (Korean chili paste) flavor ⇒ spiciness can be adjusted according to customer preference... (for children, we can use soy sauce flavor...). Vegetarians, please inform us in advance... Tteokbokki. A popular dish at Fukuchan Restaurant. Spiciness can be adjusted (for young children, we can use soy sauce flavor or tomato ketchup flavor, etc.). We use more ingredients than the famous 'Sindang-dong Tteokbokki' ⇒ we use less carbohydrates that raise blood sugar, but instead, we include a variety of vegetables, wood ear mushrooms, and lean meat abundantly... If you are primarily vegetarian, please let us know in advance.
Mild spicy, rose tteokbokki style (gentle flavor). A classic street food 'Tteokbokki' made with glutinous rice, for those who want to taste it but are not good with spicy food... Currently trending, the mild spicy 'Rose Tteokbokki style'... Our restaurant uses tomato juice for a sweet flavor... (At home, just a little ketchup is always available...) If you are primarily vegetarian, please let us know in advance.
Special Toppoki (Korean). Toppoki is made from rice cakes and flavored with chili paste (gochujang). As a course meal, it is available from the 5000 yen course and above. The standard Toppoki is often associated with high sugar content, but our Toppoki aims to be a 'healthy dish'. We use as little rice cake as possible, scallops rich in taurine, low-fat pork, seasonal vegetables grown locally, and mushrooms high in vitamin D. The spiciness and saltiness are kept mild. The ingredients may change slightly each time. [The dish photo is one item from the menu served to customers on the ¥5000 course.]

We also include plenty of low-fat meat. The spiciness can be adjusted to the customer's preference. There is a special cold noodle option for ¥1500, which has the same amount of noodles but more abundant ingredients (the amount of noodles can also be increased upon request). Bibim Cold Noodles (Korean, meaning mixed cold noodles). ★ Except for midsummer, reservations are required... (for two servings or more). The noodles are made from buckwheat flour and starch (since starch is included, the texture is chewy) and are authentic Korean fresh noodles... We use a 'seasoning' similar to Korean chili paste (gochujang), so it is spicier than 'water cold noodles' ⇒ we adjust to the customer's preference... ★ Our pride is in using low-pesticide vegetables and a generous amount of mixed kimchi... ⇒ additive-free healthy food. We use meat that is almost fat-free ⇒ high protein low fat, such as boiled chicken breast (the type of meat may change occasionally). The seasoning is adjusted to the customer's preference... ★ There is also a 'Special Bibim Cold Noodles' for ¥1500 ⇒ the amount of noodles is the same, but the other ingredients are more abundant... (the amount of noodles can also be increased according to the customer's preference...). ♥︎ At home, kimchi that has become too sour and hard to eat is also okay (add a little sweetness and flavor with sesame oil or perilla oil... ⇒ other ingredients can be adjusted to the customer's preference... ⇒ live lactic acid bacteria included... any type of noodle is fine, including somen, but very thick noodles are hard to eat (according to the owner's taste)... Stone grilled bibimbap. In a stone bowl, rice, various vegetables, meat, and egg are topped and grilled to create a mixed rice dish (similar to bibimbap) ⇒ Perfect for cold seasons as it is served hot. In the case of stone grilled bibimbap, omega-3 'perilla oil' is sensitive to heat, so we only use sesame oil (omega-6). The namul (seasoned vegetables) is pre-seasoned, so gochujang (Korean chili paste) is optional... (A dish suitable for children ⇒ seasoning can be adjusted with soy sauce, etc.). ★ Our restaurant uses lean meat and a generous amount of vegetables, served with chewy barley rice... (to ensure sufficient nutrition for one meal... ⇒ healthy food). In the evening, no soup is served ⇒ 'Basically, a lunch menu'. Gukbap (in Korean) translates directly to 'soup rice.' In authentic Korea, there are various types of gukbap depending on the region (as a specialty dish... for example, Seolleongtang, Gomtang, etc.). Our restaurant's gukbap is based on beef bone soup and oxtail soup, with rice, meat, eggs, and vegetables added... (similar to Japanese 'zousui'). Seafood includes large shrimp (if you inform us in advance, other ingredients can also be used), and there is a rich variety of meat and vegetables... including our homemade additive-free mixed kimchi as side dishes... healthy food. [The dish photo is of the healthy tofu stew set meal served to a female customer.] Healthy tofu stew set meal. The sundubu-jjigae uses large shrimp (if you have shrimp allergies, please let us know in advance, and we can use other ingredients), low-fat meat, and a rich variety of seasonal vegetables... healthy food. For customers who do not drink... The owner also always enjoys various teas for health and beauty (using mineral water). However, since it is free, you can help yourself... There is a water dispenser for those who do not consume paid beverages. While mineral water is good, Japanese tea that is good for the body and Korean tea that is beneficial for skin beauty, etc. are also available... Customers can freely choose the types of tea...
