A bistro and deli with a hidden gem vibe

Bet Ikegiri Ohashi is a unique establishment that combines a bistro and a deli, resembling a hidden gem. The showcase on the first floor features stylish and diverse side dishes that can be enjoyed as takeout. During dinner time, you can savor delicious dishes in the calm atmosphere of the second floor, with the house-made pudding being a particular highlight. Each dish is generously portioned, making it a popular spot for casual visits.

It's close to the station and easy to stop by, with a corner on the first floor for prepared dishes and standing drinks that creates a fun atmosphere. When you go up the stairs, there's a small bistro that feels cozy, as if you've been invited to someone's home. The appetizer plate and homemade brioche have a wonderful aroma, and I was particularly surprised by the tenderness of the confit gizzards. The gratin with oysters and cod milt is hot and spreads a rich flavor. The takeout mackerel bento and ginger pork bento are well-made, with plenty of vegetables, leaving you satisfied. The dessert pudding and croquant choux have a smoothness and crispy texture that are delightful, making you feel happy until the very end.

The pudding has a rich milk flavor and a gentle melt-in-your-mouth texture that is superb. The fragrant choux pastry is crispy, and it pairs perfectly with the cream. The mackerel in the bento is full of umami and has a tender, flaky texture. It is accompanied by simmered daikon and myoga, allowing you to enjoy the vegetables as well. The ginger pork has a prominent aroma of grated ginger, and the aftertaste is satisfying. The bistro on the second floor has a limited number of seats, making it a relaxing place that feels like home.
