Authentic Okinawan cuisine in a homely atmosphere

Okinawa Shokusai Gajumaru is a place where you can savor authentic Okinawan dishes. Traditional Okinawan music plays in the background, allowing you to feel the essence of Okinawa with each visit. The menu features classic items like soki soba and goya champuru, with the soki soba particularly standing out for its deep flavor from the rich broth infused with tender pork. The restaurant also sells products sourced from Okinawa, making it a great spot for souvenirs.

As I entered the shop, Okinawan folk music was playing, and a relaxed atmosphere filled the space. The small interior had a warmth reminiscent of home, and the staff's smiles were comforting. It was enjoyable to sip on the first serving of sanpin tea while looking over the menu of classic dishes. The flat noodles in the soki soba were infused with broth, and the tender meat paired perfectly. Adding a little kochujang and pickled ginger changed the flavor, making it enjoyable to slurp until the end without getting bored. While admiring the Okinawan ingredients displayed on the wall, I also savored the goya champuru, completely immersing myself in the island vibe.
