A homely izakaya to enjoy seasonal flavors

Tempura Izakaya Tenchi. is a newly opened izakaya in Nishikoyama, where you can enjoy dishes that make the most of seasonal ingredients. The signature dish, tempura, is a must-try, along with tai-meshi and a variety of alcoholic beverages that will satisfy any drink lover. The interior is bright and lively, with energetic service that adds to its charm. It has a casual atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for after-work relaxation or gatherings with friends.

The dishes make use of seasonal ingredients and each one has a careful flavor. The tempura, in particular, is well-prepared, and the rare tuna and chicken breast tempura left a strong impression. The clay pot sea bream rice is very delicious and memorable. There is also a wide selection of sake, which changes with the seasons, making it enjoyable. The interior has both counter and table seating, allowing for relaxation whether alone or in a group. The seasonal dishes other than tempura also change, so there are new discoveries every time I visit.
