Aromas of mint and licorice within the French/Merlot. A well-balanced flavor with moderate concentration. Initially, there is a slight acidity upon opening, but exposure to air reveals sweetness.
France / Grenache, Syrah, and others are made from old vines with an average age of over 90 years. While many producers perform barrel aging, this wine is made in a rare style that does not involve any aging in barrels. The deep flavor expressed solely through the grapes is its charm.
