Chicken Nanban was established in 1961 and is the birthplace of Chicken Nanban. The "Chicken Nanban Set Meal" (1010 yen) is a must-try dish with a perfect balance of light chicken breast, sweet vinegar-soaked batter, and vinegar-infused tartar sauce.

Miyazaki is the place to go for chicken nanban and nanban is the place to go for chicken nanban! I went on a trip to Miyazaki for two nights and three days from September 28 to 30! It was a nice place with lots of nature! I would be happy if you could join me! Travel to Miyazaki (1) We departed from Miyazaki Airport in a rental car! The driver is my junior! Always sorry♪ First, we went to Teruha Suspension Bridge in Aya, but it was under construction... I wrote the details in my diary, if you have time... Then, we went to the city for lunch. My junior loves Nanban! Miyazaki is all about Nanban, and when it comes to Nanban in Miyazaki, it's here at Ogura's! You have to try this place! Enter an alley in the shopping street and you'll find it! It's a cute pop exterior.... There is also counter seating on the first floor, so it's okay to go alone. The second floor has table seating and tatami rooms. Before 1:00 p.m., the restaurant is crowded at lunch time. There wasn't a long line, but it was a rotating line. Of course, this is what you eat when you come here! Ogura's Chicken Nanban with rice for 980 yen! We didn't have to wait long, maybe 10 minutes. Big chicken with lots of tartar and salad! You cut the chicken yourself! First, let's start with the chicken. It is firm and elastic, and the flavor of the chicken is packed in the meat. The tartar is a little sour because the egg is weak. It looks like a dressing, but it suits this chicken and is delicious! The back side of the nanban is a salad, but it is piled up! By the time you finish eating this, you are quite full! The salad dressing and tartar were mixed up at the end. I think the rice was a little dry too. Chicken tastes better in the real world... Now, we are off to Aoshima Shrine!
