A hidden gem of a Chinese restaurant along Honmoku Street

Kinoko is a Chinese restaurant quietly nestled along Honmoku Street. You can enjoy delicious dishes in a calm atmosphere. The classic menu items like gyoza and fried rice exceed expectations in flavor, with the gyoza featuring a perfectly crispy texture that is particularly appealing. The dishes are slightly on the salty side, so it's recommended to enjoy them with rice.

This town Chinese restaurant along Honmoku Street has a calm atmosphere that is pleasant. It is run by a family, which adds a sense of warmth. The stir-fried greens with fragrant garlic were crisp and to my liking. The xiaolongbao released a warm steam when served, making it hard to resist picking up my chopsticks. The dish with eggplant and pork in doubanjiang had melting eggplant and finely sliced pork that paired well, with a gentle spiciness that lingers. The menu, which features dishes with unique names and starts with a photo of rice, is also impressive and makes for a fun selection.
