A specialty tea shop to enjoy a wide variety of flavors

Salon de Maruichi is a specialty tea shop located in the Yanagase shopping district. Here, you can enjoy a wide selection of flavored teas along with a lightly sweetened shortcake that highlights the tartness of strawberries. Why not spend a refined tea time in a calm atmosphere?

Jidori Chicken and Mushroom Gratin with Maruichi Bread and Seasonal Salad The space that has been on my mind ever since it was used in Sun Building was turned into a coffee shop. I got my wish, and belatedly went to visit. Not only is the exterior of the restaurant lovely, but the interior is also retro and stylish, which tickled my fancy. I ordered gratin. It was a blissful time watching the waiter work excitedly over the shiny counter. The gratins came out of the oven and looked delicious. Inside the restaurant during lunch time, there were many customers waiting for their gratins. I was happy and sad to see the gratins being brought to the table. Next to the beautifully colored salad is a loaf of Maruichi bread baked to perfection. It is simple and goes well with gratin. The hot gratin is filled with cheese. The juicy chicken meat is very satisfying. The white sauce was a shock to me! Delicious - better quality than I had imagined. The depth of flavor was unintentionally enchanting. It was so good that I found it was gone before I realized it. I also enjoyed eating it with bread. Next time, I'll have to visit the showcase to get a cake.
