Dashimaki Tamago (rolled egg) is more conspicuous than eel I was visiting Otsu, Shiga Prefecture! The purpose was to take a ride on the Michigan! After going around in a circle, I was hungry! I looked up "Otsu x Restaurant" in advance, and was overwhelmed by the impact of this picture, so I decided to go there! That's Kaneyosan! It seems that Kaneyosan is often featured in the media, and I recently saw it on TV. I saw it on TV recently, because even though it is an eel restaurant, the dashimaki tamago (rolled egg) stands out more prominently than the eel! It's an eel restaurant, but the dashimaki tamago is more conspicuous than the eel! As an egg lover, I was a little curious about this! I'm sorry, I don't know where it is because I came here with my car's navigation system.... The parking lot is spacious with 50 spaces for regular cars. But... Kaneyo-san on the right and Kaneyo-san on the left? Kane-yo's main restaurant on the left has a very elegant atmosphere with a tatami room overlooking the garden. Since it's such a great place, they charge 1,000 yen for a seat! It would be nice to eat while looking at the garden, but you can eat at the restaurant on the right. You can get the same food at the restaurant. Go up to the second floor. Inside the restaurant, there are tables and 4 or 5 kotatsu (table placed over a hole in the floor). Now, let's order! Let's order! I: Extra kinshi-jyu (special kinshi-jyu) 2,700 yen My partner's special kinshi-jyu: 3,400 yen Prices do not include tax. Miso soup could be changed to liver soup, so we both changed it. The jyu arrived a short time later and was served with the lid on! When I opened it, I was struck by the contrast between the beautiful egg and the fragrant color of the eel! The dashimaki is said to use three eggs, so it's quite a big portion! Soft, fluffy, hot, and rather firm and resilient! The dashi broth is a little weak. But we will continue to eat it while mixing it with the eel sauce. It is delicious! I am happy! I preferred the eel steamed and grilled to a golden brown... Mmmm! Fluffy and the sauce is light. I hadn't had eel in a long time, so I was excited just by that and enjoyed it! The liver soup was also a nice salty taste with a plump liver! My partner also had the same dish, but the amount of eel and the amount of rice seemed to be different! The amount of rice was so much! I had to leave a little bit of rice... If you are a small eater, I think you should tell them you want less rice! I know this is an eel restaurant, but it seems like the main dish is the dashimaki. If you like eggs, you will definitely be excited! Thank you for the food!
