It is a mountain cabin-style building located in the mountains, where you can relax around an irori (a traditional Japanese sunken hearth). The wild boar rice bowl, which has a strong flavor of boar, is very delicious. The carefully selected rice and the fragrant tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette) are also impressive, making it hard to put down your chopsticks. The portions are generous, providing a high level of satisfaction after the meal. From the window, you can see a landscape surrounded by greenery, and you can feel a cool breeze while watching people enjoying boards on the river behind the cabin. It's also nice that you can choose your seat, and since it seems that they sometimes go out to the mountains, it's reassuring to make a reservation.
I am very happy to be able to have a meal surrounded by shelves full of books. While looking at the rural landscape and sitting down after taking off my shoes, the piano background music flows and calms my heart. The lunch plate made with seasonal ingredients was full of vegetables and had a gentle flavor. The particularly tender braised pork was soaked in a sweet and savory sauce, making it easy to eat with rice. The dessert after the meal was lightly sweet, and I was able to enjoy it slowly while flipping through a book. It is a pleasant place where I can chat with the owner about music and reading, so I tend to linger longer.
