Hikosan Shokudo is a local cuisine eatery located in front of JR Hikosan Station. The menu is very extensive, with many creative dishes, and the time spent choosing what to order is enjoyable. The garlic butter stir-fried lamb chops had a pleasant herbal aroma and were surprisingly tender. The xiaolongbao, which are handmade every day, burst with hot soup and were truly impressive. The shrimp mayo made with plump, large shrimp and the unlimited refills of steamed buns were delightful in their attention to detail. The service and the pandas in the restaurant were warm, and I left feeling happy and full.
