My parents love Kiraku's food, so I have been going there often since I was in elementary school. When I finally became old enough to drink, I came here for the first time with friends. It is still delicious! And the waitresses are wonderful. I will come back again. ☺︎

The thickly sliced sashimi stands out in flavor when paired with sesame sauce. The chawanmushi contains chicken, shiitake mushrooms, and ginkgo, offering a gentle taste. The miso soup, rich in dashi, and the small side dishes are also well-prepared, and I appreciate the dried shrimp served with the mozuku seaweed. The availability of coffee or warm tea after the meal, along with the cloth napkin, is delightful, and I find myself wanting to have seconds of the rice.

The calm interior of the shop, just outside the station, creates a relaxing atmosphere. The first dish that arrived, a chawanmushi with crab, had a delightful aroma that instantly heightened my expectations. The sashimi platter I ordered as a side was incredibly fresh, beautifully arranged down to the last detail. The chicken wing gyoza and the fragrant grilled dishes were juicy, making the drinks go down even smoother. The rice balls made with rice cooked in a clay pot allowed for a choice of fillings, and each flavor paired perfectly with the rice. Thanks to the staff who greeted us with smiles, I was able to enjoy my time there until the very end.

The yuzu dressing has a freshness like it was just squeezed, making the salad even more refreshing. The sesame chili oil has a pleasant aroma of flower pepper and star anise, and adding it to dumplings or noodles enhances the satisfaction.
