A local TV station was even there to cover the event 😂.

Recommended by an acquaintance
Hirao Tempura is a well-known restaurant in Fukuoka! My acquaintance said, "Let's go there, it's really cheap and good! So I decided to go there, not expecting much, but I was wrong! (When we took our seats, tempura sauce, rice, and miso soup were quickly prepared for us. The salted squid on the table is all-you-can-eat! Seriously, the tempura is freshly deep-fried and served in a bowl each time. It's like a ryotei restaurant! The batter is thin and crispy! Not greasy at all. Pork, eggplant, green bell pepper, shrimp, potato, squid, etc., all for 630 yen! I want it! I really want it! It's been a long time since I've had a smash hit! On the wall, there was a certificate of the award of "Eat Log 2009". On the wall, there was a certificate that said it had won an award from the food log in 2009. I guess it was a natural result. Cheap, fast, good food! This tempura restaurant is a strong ally of the common people!

The interior is cozy, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The thin, handmade soba slides smoothly down the throat, and the aroma spreads gently. When mixed with the flavorful dipping sauce and spicy daikon radish from Fukui, the lingering spiciness adds a nice accent. The sweet black beans served on the side are perfect for a palate cleanser, which is delightful. The homemade yuzu pepper and the tempura are freshly fried and crispy, further enhancing the flavor of the soba. You can feel the couple's careful craftsmanship, and I was thoroughly satisfied even with the rich soba broth after the meal.
