Located near the Ohana in Yanagawa, Grotto is beloved by many as a heartwarming café during the day and a members-only bar at night. The interior exudes a calm atmosphere reminiscent of old-fashioned coffee shops, and the unique menu features delightful options such as vanilla-scented milkshakes, refreshing lemon squash, and the owner's proud selection of beers, allowing for new flavors to be enjoyed with each visit. It's a must-visit spot when exploring Yanagawa.
Since I made a reservation, I was guided smoothly without having to wait. The eel seiro was also very delicious, and the service was truly wonderful. I definitely want to visit again the next time I go to Yanagawa.
The atmosphere of the shop was nice, and I was able to enjoy the local specialties. The marinated fish served on a small plate was delicious, so I bought some as a souvenir at a nearby specialty store.
