Surrounded by fields, the location immediately soothes you with the view from the window. The bright interior, infused with the warmth of wood, is very comfortable. The first dish that comes out is a generous assortment of vegetables, which is labor-intensive and each item has its own personality, making it enjoyable. The pizza, topped with fragrant chrysanthemum greens, pairs well with the cheese, and I could also taste the umami of the mushrooms, which was satisfying. The main dish, chicken confit, has crispy skin and tender meat, accompanied by plenty of warm vegetables, which brings happiness. For dessert, the komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach) tiramisu has a surprisingly gentle flavor, and combined with the spacious atmosphere, it made for a pleasant experience.

Reservations can be easily made through the website, and it's reassuring even for first-timers. Once seated, they serve tea, and the time spent waiting while watching the cooking process is enjoyable. The guidance and explanations from the staff are thorough, and their cheerful service is heartwarming. The rice from Mikasa is fluffy and shiny, and it's great that you can have as much as you want. There are many small dishes, the tempura has a light and crispy batter, and the dashi rolled omelet is fragrant with dashi and finely textured, which made me very satisfied. The miso soup made with local miso and seasonal fish convey a sense of connection to the region, warming my heart with each dish.
