You can enjoy grilled fugu from start to finish. The skin's hot water blanching has a chewy texture and a refreshing flavor. The sashimi is a combination of thinly sliced and chunky pieces, making the difference in texture interesting. The fried and grilled flesh is also fragrant, and it's fun to mix the sauce to your liking. The condiments and pickled green chili peppers pair well, and there is a wide variety of drinks, with the cold fin sake leaving a lasting impression. Even the final dish of nyumen is filled with fugu, satisfying both my stomach and my heart.
