The appearance is modest, but the interior is a quiet and comfortable space, and the garden is well-maintained. For lunch, I could choose from hamburgers, pasta, pizza, and I was excited. The carefully cooked hamburger is tender, and the refreshing acidity of the accompanying pickles pairs well. The potage and small rolls have a gentle flavor, and the salad has a variety of types and enjoyable textures. I was able to fully enjoy the jelly and coffee after the meal, and the cups were lovely. The portions are generous, which explains why regulars gather here.
