When I lived in Nara Prefecture for 12 years, it brought back fond memories. Among them was a restaurant called "Ajiichi" that has been loved for a long time. The owner was still alive and well at the time, but later he passed away and his wife and son took over the management of the restaurant, with his daughter also helping out. The restaurant was a staple of the local horumon-yaki market and did a great job of stocking up. I was always able to get my favorite beans as well. The bibim noodles she makes are especially good and paired with fresh vegetables. On weekdays, it is not too crowded and the whole family can have a good time talking together. Mrs. Koh is from South Gyeongsang Province and came to Japan on a blind date with her husband. She is a serious person, and both her son and daughter are very serious and likeable. I would like to visit Takada again if I have a chance.
